Transportation Improvement PROGRAM (TIP)
The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a 10-year federally mandated work program that identifies construction funding and schedules transportation projects within the MPO and state. The TIP is fiscally constrained and adopted every two years but can be amended as needed. The State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) contains all of the transportation projects in the state and must be consistent with the Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program (MTIP), which is all of the transportation projects within the MPO region. Each MTIP project must match the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) in the STIP. To view all projects in the current 2024-2033 STIP, click the links below to access the NDOT website.
