General transportation is only expendable for individuals traveling to a Mid-Carolina sanctioned nutrition center. The Community Transportation Program provides transportation for prearranged groups to participate in the Area Agency on Aging Nutrition Program. There must be a least three clients in a group and must attend the approved senior center closest to their home. The Nutrition Program requires that a certain percentage of the group participate in the congregate meal program. Clients who participate in this program are allowed one trip per week to the grocery store after their nutrition trip.
